Two unreleased AMD CPUs, the Ryzen AI MAX+ 388 and Ryzen 7 9700X3D, have been spotted in PassMark, featuring 8 cores and integrated Radeon 8060S graphics, with the former likely targeting value gaming and the latter possibly a new Zen 6-based refresh, though details remain unofficial.
AMD's upcoming Ryzen 8000G series of desktop APUs, based on the Zen4 architecture, have been tested in PassMark benchmarks and show up to 30% performance improvement over the Zen3-based 5000G series. The 8700G, 8600G, and 8500G APUs feature integrated RDNA3 GPU subsystems and increased default TDP to 65W, marking AMD's entry into the DIY market. The 8700G outperforms the 8600G and 8500G in both single-core and multi-core tests, with the 8500G utilizing a heterogeneous Zen4c architecture. The series is set for release on January 31st, with the absence of the Ryzen 3 8300G from the initial launch.
