Russian Serviceman Allegedly Assisted Ukrainian Partisans in Planning Crimea Attack
A Ukrainian partisan group, the armed underground guerilla group ATESH, claims that a Russian military member provided them with inside information that helped plan the recent attack on a shipyard in Crimea. The attack, carried out by Ukrainian forces, severely damaged a Russian submarine and landing vessel. ATESH also stated that local residents of Sevastopol provided them with valuable information about Russian troops. This strike is part of Ukraine's larger plan to reclaim Crimea, which was annexed by Russia in 2014.
