The Parliamentary Affairs Minister acknowledged a case of mistaken identity and requested the Speaker to drop Parthiban's name from the suspended MPs' list. The total number of suspended Lok Sabha MPs for the Winter Session now stands at 13, including opposition members from DMK, Congress, and Trinamool. The MPs violated the resolution of not displaying placards in the House, which had been unanimously agreed upon.
