As Google's generative AI features are currently free, it is likely that some of these features will become paid in the future due to the computational expense of running AI. The Search Generative Experience (SGE) and Bard are expected to remain free, while Magic Editor, Magic Compose, and AI wallpapers may become paid features. In Workspace, mass-market features like "Help me write" are expected to remain free, while more advanced features like table creation and data organization in Sheets and image generation in Slides and Meet may be locked behind a paywall. Google One is the most likely platform for premium AI features.
