Letitia Bishop was charged over $1,000 for a Subway sandwich in Columbus, Ohio, leaving her financially strained and unable to afford groceries for weeks. Despite her efforts to resolve the issue with the store and Subway's corporate office, she was unable to get a refund for almost two months. The store where she made the purchase has since closed temporarily. After seeking help from her bank and the Better Business Bureau, Bishop eventually received a cash refund from a regional manager.
