Alpine F1 Staff Embrace a Bright Future, Says Szafnauer
Outgoing Alpine F1 team principal, Otmar Szafnauer, expressed his concern for the future of the team's staff after completing his final weekend at Spa. Szafnauer, who will be replaced by Bruno Famin on an interim basis, hoped that the hardworking employees at Enstone and Viry would have a bright future. Despite his departure, the team had a solid weekend at Spa, with Pierre Gasly finishing third in the sprint race and Esteban Ocon charging from 14th to eighth in the main race. Szafnauer praised the team's performance and their fight with McLaren.
