Fatal Shooting Outside Pittsburgh's Oliver Citywide Academy
One person, a student, was shot and killed near Oliver Citywide Academy in Pittsburgh. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition but was pronounced dead. The suspect, also a student, was detained by police after they witnessed them running from the scene with a gun, which they recovered. Classes at Oliver Citywide Academy have been canceled for the day. Both the victim and the suspect were students. Pittsburgh Public Schools released a statement saying they are investigating the shooting.
