Multiple Ohio High Schools Respond to False Reports of Active Shooters
The Delaware County Sheriff's Office is investigating a reported threat at Olentangy High School after someone called 911 claiming to be a student and said someone was in the restroom with a handgun. No injuries were reported, and it's unclear if any shots were fired. Deputies are clearing all the rooms at the high school, and the sheriff's office is taking the threat seriously. Columbus police and fire also responded to a reported threat at East High School, which appeared to be a prank. The state of Ohio has recently passed a law addressing hoax emergency calls.
