Suspect Arrested in Fatal Shooting of Off-Duty Deputy in Federal Hill

A 40-year-old man named Jewel Crowder has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the killing of off-duty Howard County deputy Ryan Demby in Federal Hill, Baltimore. The shooting occurred after a verbal and physical altercation between two groups inside a bar, which then moved to the outdoor seating area where Demby was shot four times in the torso. Demby was pronounced dead at the hospital. The arrest was made by the Baltimore Police's SWAT and Warrant Apprehension Task Force.

"Florida Deputy's High-Speed Chase Ends in Arrest"
