Ten of the nominees are first-timers, with several veterans—Mariah Carey, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, The Black Crowes, Billy Idol, and Sade—nominated again. Inductees are decided by ballots from 1,200+ industry professionals, with the Class of 2026 to be revealed in April and the ceremony this fall. Eligibility requires 25 years since the first release; Collins would become the 29th artist inducted twice if successful.
