Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff and Republican Steve Garvey, a former Los Angeles Dodgers star, will advance to the November runoff election for the California Senate seat. Sen. Laphonza Butler, D-Calif., who is currently serving in Feinstein's seat, declined to run.
