The Mavericks finished the season with a 35-2 record, while NSU finished with a 32-3 record. Dylan Peeters led MSU with 19 points, while Malik Willingham, Kyreese Willingham, and Harrison Braudis each contributed 12 points. This victory marks the first time since 1984 that a school has won both the D-II Men's and Women's Tournament in the same season.
