NFCA All-Region Honors Awarded to Top Softball Players in NCAA.
Seven Oklahoma Softball student-athletes have been named to the NFCA All-Region Central team, with five on the First Team and two on the Second Team. The Sooners have had at least seven nominees selected for eight out of the past nine seasons. The honorees are now eligible for selection to one of three 2023 NFCA Division I All-American teams. Oklahoma will host the NCAA Norman Regional this weekend at Marita Hynes Field, welcoming Hofstra, Missouri, and Cal for the opening weekend of NCAA Tournament play.
