The mod was part of a broader "No Alphabets" mod pack that aimed to maintain a "medieval status quo." The mod was quickly removed from NexusMods, but may still be hosted on far-right platforms. NexusMods moderators stated that the mod violated their community guidelines and affirmed their commitment to inclusivity and diversity.
A mod for Baldur's Gate 3 called 'Level 30' has extended the level cap to 30, more than double the current cap of 12, effectively breaking the Dungeons & Dragons rulebook. The mod allows players to multiclass or level up in a single class all the way to level 30, with increased experience gains and tripled combat experience. Cantrips are also increased by six times, resulting in significantly higher damage. While the mod covers all character classes, it may require another mod to work properly. However, uninstalling the mod will render character saves above level 12 unusable, as the game naturally caps at that level.
