United Airlines Flights Diverted Due to Passenger Illnesses
A United Airlines flight from Tel Aviv to Newark was diverted to New York Stewart International Airport due to passengers falling ill and reported strong winds and turbulence. First responders evaluated about 200 passengers, some of whom were taken to the hospital for further treatment. The rest were transported back to Newark Airport, and it was unclear how many people were hospitalized. No serious injuries were reported, and United Airlines did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
