
WVU Baseball Reaches First-Ever Super Regional After Defeating Grand Canyon
The West Virginia University baseball team advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals for the first time in program history by defeating Grand Canyon 10-6 in the Tucson Regional Final. The Mountaineers, now 36-22, will play in a Super Regional next week. Key performances included three hits each from Logan Sauve and JJ Wetherholt, and a strong pitching effort from Aidan Major, Carson Estridge, and Derek Clark, who was named the Tucson Regional Most Outstanding Player.
