Animal Cruelty Investigation Leads to Seizure of Over 100 Animals at Virginia Zoo
Dozens of animals, including a white tiger, were seized from the Natural Bridge Zoo in Rockbridge County, Virginia, following an investigation into alleged animal cruelty. The search warrant revealed that the animals were found with various health issues, living in filthy habitats without proper care, food, or water. In addition to 95 living animals, investigators also discovered dozens of dead animals and animal body parts. A white tiger was euthanized with the consent of the owners to end its suffering. The Virginia Attorney General's Office is pursuing charges, and a hearing has been scheduled for December 20th.
