"Affordable 100-Inch Transparent Screen to Revolutionize Display Tech"

Scientists at the Korea Institute of Machinery and Materials (KIMM) and Meta2People have developed a 100-inch nano transparent screen (NTS) that is as thin as a human hair and significantly cheaper than conventional transparent OLED screens. The NTS, made using a roll-to-roll process with titanium dioxide nanoparticles and polymer dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) film, offers high durability, optical quality, and adjustable transparency. The new screen is expected to cost just one-tenth of the price of current transparent screens, making it a promising option for more affordable transparent TVs.

"Korean Scientists' Breakthrough: Creating the Notorious Plumber's Nightmare Structure"

Researchers at POSTECH have achieved a groundbreaking feat by creating the complex "plumber's nightmare" structure in block copolymers, opening new possibilities in nano-technology and material science. By focusing on the less than one percent chain ends of the polymer, they successfully realized this intricate formation, previously thought to be unattainable. This breakthrough not only expands the realm of block copolymer structures but also lays the groundwork for designing novel nanostructures with tailored properties, with potential applications in diverse fields.
