
Baseball Player Shot After College Game in Ohio, Suspect in Custody
A former Olivet College student has been charged with attempted murder and felony assault after he allegedly shot one of the school’s baseball players after a game at Muskingum University in Ohio. The player suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the shooting, and the suspect has been identified as a 2021 graduate of the school. The motive for the shooting is not yet clear, and the investigation is ongoing. Games scheduled for the Olivet Comets for Saturday and Sunday were canceled following the shooting.
