Baseball Player Shot After Game, Suspect Charged with Attempted Murder

Franklin J. Grayson, an Olivet College graduate, has been charged with attempted murder and felonious assault after allegedly shooting an Olivet College baseball player following a game in Ohio. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and has been released from the hospital. Law enforcement has told Olivet College there is no known relationship between the victim and the suspect. Grayson is in custody in Muskingum County, Ohio, and prosecutor Ron Welch is requesting a $1 million bond. The investigation remains active.
