Apple Music's album descriptions, written by human experts, add context and trivia to a listen, making it akin to visiting a record shop or getting recommendations from a well-informed friend. While Spotify offers artist bios, the per-album write-ups are missing. The feature is only possible because Apple employs real, human music experts to curate its platform. The upcoming Apple Music Classical launch is expected to have as much detail as the current app.
