Pogačar Dominates Stage 13 to Extend Tour de France Lead

Tadej Pogačar won his fourth stage of the Tour de France by dominating the uphill time trial to Peyragudes, extending his overall lead over Jonas Vingegaard. Pogačar chose an aero road bike over a TT bike, which contributed to his victory, and he expressed satisfaction with his performance. The stage featured a challenging 2.9 km flat section followed by an 8 km uphill climb, with Pogačar's strong start and finish securing his win and further solidifying his position in the race.

Roglic won the race by 14 seconds, with his team-mates locked between fear and hope as they watched events unfold on the big screen past the finish line.

The stage saw Primož Roglič take the maglia rosa from Geraint Thomas, with Sepp Kuss finishing sixth and praising the "beautiful place" and "sufferfest." Aurélien Paret-Peintre praised the well-organised bike change zone and said the course wasn't more demanding than a "normal" time trial. Andreas Leknessund said steep time trials "have a place" in a Grand Tour.

Roglic dominates Giro d'Italia with record-breaking performance.

Primoz Roglic attacked twice in the final 1.5km of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo climb to gain three seconds on Geraint Thomas and reduce his overall deficit to just 26 seconds at the Giro d'Italia. He has distanced João Almeida to 59 seconds and only has to beat Thomas to have a shot at overall victory. Roglic and Thomas will face off in Saturday’s decisive 18.6km mountain time trial at Monte Lussari. Sepp Kuss played a vital role in supporting Roglic and explained why he opted not to attack earlier.
