Revolutionary Methods to Enhance Gene Expression Deficiencies
A new molecular technology called translation-activating RNAs (taRNAs) has been developed to regulate gene expression by binding to specific mRNA molecules and increasing protein synthesis. This technology offers a potential solution for diseases caused by insufficient gene expression, such as cancer and genetic disorders. In experiments, taRNAs successfully increased the levels of target mRNAs and proteins in human cells, including tumor suppressors and synaptic regulators.
