Mojang announced Minecraft Dungeons II at Minecraft Live as a brand-new action RPG, coming to Switch 2, Switch, and other platforms in fall 2026. It promises high-stakes combat, abundant loot, and entirely new locations, playable solo or with up to three friends (four players total). Minecraft Dungeons has announced that there will be no more content updates for the game as the development team has moved on to new projects within the Minecraft universe.
