House poised to end shutdown with temporary funding as immigration oversight talks continue
The House plans to pass a short-term funding package to end the partial government shutdown and buy about 10 days for bipartisan negotiations over immigration enforcement, funding the Department of Homeland Security through Feb. 13 while talks proceed.
