Will Allen, the first African American basketball player at the University of Miami, won't be attending the school's first trip to the Final Four due to his busy farming schedule. Allen is a globally recognized urban farmer and has won numerous awards for his work in the industry. He played basketball professionally before rediscovering farming while playing in Belgium. Allen's mission is to bring food into people's lives and train them how to grow food, and he remains an authority on urban agriculture.
