A prisoner, Christopher Lee Pray, escaped from the Oregon State Hospital while fully shackled and was later found stuck in deep mud near a pond. He was rescued and arrested after giving a fake name at a hospital. Pray had been facing charges including attempted murder and robbery. Footage released by prosecutors shows that Irvo Otieno, a 28-year-old Black man, was forcefully pinned down by sheriff officials and mental hospital workers in Virginia until he stopped moving and his body went limp. Seven sheriff deputies and three hospital staffers have been charged with second-degree murder in Otieno's death. The video shows at least ten people pushing down on Otieno while he was restrained and on the floor. The probe into the events before Otieno's death is ongoing.
