Galaxy Watch 5's Temperature Sensor Now Tracks Cycles with Skin Temperature.
Samsung has rolled out an update for the Galaxy Watch 5 that allows menstrual cycle tracking by using the smartwatch's skin temperature sensor. The feature is available in the USA, Korea, and 30 markets across Europe through the Samsung Health app. The skin temperature sensor on the Galaxy Watch 5 has enabled accurate menstrual cycle predictions by reading the wearer's skin temperature after waking up and before physical activities. Users can activate this feature by selecting Cycle Tracking in the Samsung Health app and enabling "Predict period with skin temp" in the settings menu.
