"2023 NYC Primary Election: Live Results and Impact on District Attorney Race"

Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz and Bronx District Attorney Darcel Clark are facing primary challenges from different policy perspectives. Katz is seeking a second term and is being challenged by retired police officer and judge George Grasso, as well as defense attorney Devian Daniels. Clark is aiming for a third term and is being challenged by defense attorney Tess Cohen, who argues that Clark is too punitive and hasn't implemented reforms. Both incumbents have outraised their opponents and received key endorsements, making it difficult for their challengers to gain support. The primary results show Katz leading with 70.87% of the vote and Clark leading with 72.66% of the vote.
