Ohio Plastic Surgeon Loses Medical License After Livestreaming Operations on TikTok
Dr. Katharine Roxanne Grawe, an Ohio plastic surgeon known as "Dr. Roxy" on social media, has had her state medical license permanently revoked by the State Medical Board of Ohio. Grawe had livestreamed patient operations on TikTok and had three patients report complications after surgery. The board also fined her $4,500. The board had previously suspended her license and reprimanded her for violating patient privacy and ethical concerns related to social media. Grawe testified that she made the videos to educate people about cosmetic surgery but acknowledged that they appeared unprofessional.
