Google has announced that it will bring Matter support to the Google Home app on iOS soon. Google is rolling out Matter support for its 2020 Nest Thermostat, allowing users to adjust temperatures and enjoy basic controls of their thermostats across Matter-compatible smart home platforms, including Apple Home. The Nest Thermostat is one of the first thermostats to support the Matter standard. The rollout will take place over the next few weeks, and future Nest Thermostats will ship with Matter support out of the box.
