Marvel's Midnight Suns will be released on Xbox One and PS4 on May 11th, but the Nintendo Switch version has been canceled. The cancellation may not come as a surprise given the extra work required to get the game running on the less powerful console. The game was also a commercial flop, according to Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick. The Xbox One and PS4 versions will come with all DLC installments, including the upcoming Blood Storm expansion.

2K Games has cancelled plans to release Marvel’s Midnight Suns for Nintendo Switch, while announcing a release date for the delayed Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game. The last-gen console versions will be released digitally on May 11, with no plans for a physical release. The fourth and final post-launch DLC, Blood Storm, will also launch on May 11.

Morbius joins Marvel's Midnight Suns in highly anticipated DLC release.

Marvel's Midnight Suns has released its third DLC character, Morbius, who comes with 11 unique Hero Abilities and the laboratory Abbey upgrade. The Hunger DLC sees Morbius teaming up with the Midnight Suns to tackle New York City's vampyre threat across three new missions. The DLC is available to purchase separately or as part of the Marvel's Midnight Suns Season Pass. One more DLC hero, Storm, is still to come.

XCOM Director Jake Solomon Shifts Focus to Life Simulators and New Studio

Former Firaxis director Jake Solomon said that he probably won't make another turn-based strategy game and wants to create a simulation game instead. Solomon explained that he can't stray too far away from his expertise and that system design is important to him. He designed the individual heroes, enemies, and abilities in Marvel's Midnight Suns. Solomon hasn't officially announced a new studio just yet, but he left Firaxis last month after working for the studio for over two decades.
