A 17-year-old Ohio high school homecoming queen candidate, Breanne McKean, collapsed and died suddenly before a football game due to a medical emergency. McKean, a senior at Mapleton High School, was described as an exceptional athlete and beloved member of the community. The football game was suspended, the homecoming dance was canceled, and all Mapleton athletic events have been postponed. The cause of McKean's death has not yet been determined.
