Police have released new video of a murder-suicide at a Giant Eagle store in North Olmsted, Ohio, but many questions remain unanswered. Bernard Smith shot and killed his ex-wife, Susan Petterson, before turning the gun on himself. The motive for the shooting is unknown, and there were no police reports or restraining orders involving the couple. The store remains closed, but grief counselors are available for employees and the city has announced counseling services for anyone at North Olmsted City Hall.

Two victims, identified as 16-year-old Jahzier Porter and 20-year-old Jayden Santos-Andrade, were found with gunshot wounds in a car in Braintree, Massachusetts. Both were transported to local hospitals but succumbed to their injuries. Police are investigating the incident as a double homicide and are asking for anyone with information or surveillance video to come forward. Braintree High School will be providing grief counselors to students.
