Apple has released firmware updates for multiple AirPods and Beats models, as well as the MagSafe charger. The updates provide "bug fixes and other improvements," but Apple never specifies what those improvements are. Users cannot update the firmware themselves and must wait for the update to be delivered when their device is charging and within range of a paired iPhone, iPad, or Mac connected to Wi-Fi. To check the firmware version, go to Settings > Bluetooth > Info (i) for AirPods and Settings > General > About > Apple MagSafe Charger for the MagSafe charger.
