Ukraine to receive Luna drone system from Rheinmetall by year end
Rheinmetall, a German defense company, is set to deliver a Luna New Generation drone system to Ukraine by the end of the year. The "Drones Package" includes a ground control station, multiple drones, a launch catapult, and military trucks. Ukraine is seeking to bolster its weapons arsenal to counter Russia's invasion, and the drone system can be used for reconnaissance, provide an LTE network, and intercept or jam communications.
