Sabres land Stanley and Schenn in Jets trade

Predators Bolster Roster with Schenn and Nyquist Signings

The Nashville Predators have signed defenseman Luke Schenn to a three-year, $8.25 million contract. Schenn, a two-time Stanley Cup champion, spent last season with the Toronto Maple Leafs and recorded one goal, 60 hits, and an average ice time of 13:18 in 15 appearances. Prior to that, he played for the Vancouver Canucks, where he had 21 points and a +9 rating in 55 games. Schenn has played in 933 NHL games and has recorded 191 points and 764 penalty minutes. He has also represented Canada internationally and has a younger brother, Brayden, who has played in the NHL as well.
