
"2024 L.A. Marathon Draws 26,000 Runners Through Los Angeles Streets"
The 39th Los Angeles Marathon saw Kenya's Dominic Ngeno and Stacy Ndiwa clinching the top spots in the men's and women's fields, with a record 26,000 entrants. The race, which drew runners from all 50 states and 70 nations, featured a diverse range of participants, from 12-year-old seventh-graders to 87-year-old Claude Bruni. The course, spanning from Dodger Stadium to Century City, remained unchanged from 2023, and the event included various special recognitions, such as honoring the late Los Angeles Councilman Tom LaBonge and featuring 92 charity partners.
