Bandai Namco announced that Little Nightmares 3 will be released on October 10th across multiple platforms, including Switch 2, and revealed an Enhanced Edition of the original game with upgraded graphics and performance options. A new VR installment, Little Nightmares: Altered Echoes, is also teased, along with a stop-motion project. The Enhanced Edition is available now for pre-orders of Little Nightmares 3, and both games launch on October 10th.

Little Nightmares 3 is set to be released on October 10, 2025, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version confirmed, along with a new trailer. The game will be available in standard and Deluxe Editions, featuring additional content and costumes, and pre-orders include a bonus set of costumes. The release was delayed from its initial announcement in August 2023 to 2025.

Little Nightmares 3 has been announced during Gamescom's Opening Night Live event, set to release in 2024 for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. The game can be played solo or in online co-op, featuring two new characters who will face the Monster Baby in the city of Necropolis. Additionally, a podcast series called The Sounds of Nightmares has been announced, with the first two episodes already available.
