Switch 2 fuels Nintendo's 99% jump in nine-month net sales
Nintendo reports a 99.3% year‑over‑year rise in net sales to about ¥1.9 trillion ($12.3B) for the first nine months of fiscal year 2025/26, with operating profit up 21.3% and net profit up 51.3%, buoyed by Switch 2 hardware that has sold 17.37 million units (7.01 million in Q3). Switch 2 software sales total 37.93 million, while the broader Switch family has sold 155.37 million units to date; 58.7% of Q3 game sales were physical, and top titles include Mario Kart World (14 million) and Donkey Kong Bananza (4.25 million).
