Massachusetts Mother Lindsay Clancy Pleads Not Guilty to Killing 3 Children
Lindsay Clancy, a Massachusetts mother, pleaded not guilty to three counts of murder after being accused of strangling her three young children with exercise bands. Clancy's attorney argued that she was suffering from mental health issues, while prosecutors presented evidence suggesting premeditation. Clancy's notebooks contained documentation of her medications and thoughts of suicide, and search warrants revealed that she used her cell phone to research ways to kill. The judge ordered Clancy to continue treatment at a hospital for the next six months. The tragic incident occurred in January, and two of the children died on the same day, while the third died a few days later.
