Ukraine's Battle-Ready Leopard Tanks Return from Poland
The first battle-damaged Ukrainian Leopard 2A4 tank has been repaired in Poland and is ready for combat. The tank, weighing 61 tons and manned by a four-person crew, is making its way back to Ukraine. The repair work on other tanks is also in progress. Ukraine has received 40 Leopard 2A4 tanks from various NATO countries, including Canada, Germany, Norway, Poland, and Spain. These tanks, along with other Western-style tanks donated by allies, are crucial for Ukraine's war effort against Russia. Despite suffering damage, the Western-style tanks are more robust and can be repaired and returned to the frontlines.
