SF Giants seek lefty solutions with Haniger and Slater.

The San Francisco Giants continue to struggle against left-handed pitching, hitting just .205 against southpaws this season. However, outfielders Mitch Haniger and Austin Slater are nearing their season debuts after rehabbing injuries and could provide a boost to the lineup against lefties. Haniger has a .277/.353/.500 slash line against lefties during his MLB career, while Slater is slashing .285/.377/.469 against southpaws. The Giants face another lefty on Saturday and might have to expedite the arrivals of Haniger and Slater if the problem persists.
