Russia has permanently banned late night talk show hosts Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert, and Seth Meyers, along with 500 other Americans, in response to US sanctions. The ban includes former President Barack Obama, CNN anchor Erin Burnett, MSNBC hosts Rachel Maddow and Joe Scarborough, and former NBC News anchor Brian Williams. The Russian Foreign Ministry claims the exclusions were due to their involvement in spreading "Russophobic attitudes and fakes."
