The creators of the SF Pride laser light art installation "Welcome" are being accused of plagiarism by artist Yvette Mattern, who claims that the display copied her work titled "Global Rainbow." Mattern says she has a copyright for her work and has lawyered up, demanding that Illuminate, the non-profit art collective behind the "Welcome" display, credit her for the Pride display. Illuminate founder Ben Davis insists he has done nothing wrong and that Mattern is "wrong" and "doesn't know the truth."
