LPGA Opener Reduced to 54 Holes Amid Freezing Temps
Frigid Orlando conditions forced the LPGA to shorten the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions to 54 holes after delaying the third round and canceling the final round; eight players were still in contention when play ended. Nelly Korda led at 13-under after a Saturday 64 and eventually won her 16th LPGA title as celebrities competed in an exhibition format. The tour’s next event is Feb. 19-22 in Pattaya, Thailand.
