Tragic Boat Crash Claims Life of Massachusetts High School Lacrosse Star
Sadie Mauro, a 17-year-old lacrosse player from Massachusetts, was killed when the boat she was riding crashed into a jetty on Cape Cod. She was ejected into the water and her body was recovered 90 minutes later. Mauro was a rising senior at Dover-Sherborn High School and had committed to playing lacrosse at Gettysburg College. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and charges have not been announced.
