Yulia Navalnaya claims that two foreign laboratories confirmed her husband Alexei Navalny was poisoned before his death in 2024, demanding the release of their findings, while the Kremlin denies knowledge of these claims.
Scientists at the University of Leeds have developed a novel saliva substitute that is four to five times more effective than existing products for relieving dry mouth conditions. The substitute, made of a microgel and a polysaccharide-based hydrogel, binds to the surface of the mouth and hydrates it, providing longer-lasting relief. Laboratory tests showed that the new substance had significantly lower desorption rates compared to commercially available products. The researchers believe that the results will be replicated in human trials and are looking to translate the technology into commercially available products to improve the quality of life for those with dry mouth conditions.
