Scream 7 Director Defends Pro-Palestine Voices Outside LA Premiere
Kevin Williamson acknowledged and defended the pro-Palestine protesters marching outside the Scream 7 LA premiere, saying people in America have a right to protest. The demonstration, organized by groups including Entertainment Labor for Palestine, CODEPINK LA and Jewish Voice for Peace-Los Angeles, referenced Melissa Barrera’s past Palestine comments and firing from the film. Spyglass Media condemned antisemitism and urged audiences to consider the campaign, while Scream 7 is set to release on February 27.
