Wubuntu: The Unlikely Fusion of Windows and Linux
Wubuntu is a Linux distribution based on Kubuntu that mimics the appearance and functionality of Windows 11, using themes and icons that closely resemble Microsoft's OS. Despite its Windows-like interface, Wubuntu is essentially KDE Plasma with additional themes and proprietary software, such as PowerTools, which requires a $35 registration fee. The distribution includes Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and OnlyOffice, but lacks Firefox and LibreOffice. Wubuntu's resemblance to Windows is superficial, and its use of trademarks raises questions about its legitimacy.
